Dr. Heather Owens
Dr. Heather Owens

Dr. Heather Owens is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist serving the women of Central Arkansas. Born in Little Rock and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She then pursued her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, where she also completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. 


Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Owens is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a member of the Arkansas Medical Society. Her commitment to women’s health spans over two decades. From 2004 to 2009, she served as an assistant professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UAMS, where she received the Association of Professors of Gynecology award for teaching resident physicians. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Owens has been recognized for her excellence in patient care, frequently appearing on the Best Doctors in America List and being featured among the Best OB/GYN Physicians in publications such as the Arkansas Times, About You, and Little Rock Soirée, where she was recently featured again. 


Dr. Owens offers a comprehensive range of services, including annual gynecologic exams, management of menopause and perimenopausal symptoms, mammography, contraception counseling, hormone optimization therapy, sexual health, weight loss, breast care, and overall wellness. Additionally, she is skilled in managing abnormal Pap smears, treating heavy and painful periods, and performing gynecological surgeries, including inpatient, outpatient, and in-office surgery.


When not caring for her patients, Dr. Owens enjoys cooking, working out, and spending time with her three children and her dogs.

Maddie Peterman, RN
Maddie Peterman, RN

Maddie is a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse with seven years of experience in patient care. She began her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse where she supported mothers through some of life’s most transformative moments. Following Labor and Delivery, she started her career with Dr. Owens. Her passion for women’s health has been the driving force behind her career, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care, education, and advocacy.

Hannah Tipton, LPN
Hannah Tipton, LPN

Hannah is a dedicated clinic nurse with six years of experience providing compassionate and high-quality care. Specializing in women’s health, she is passionate about educating and empowering patients to take charge of their well-being. Her clinical expertise, combined with a warm and patient-focused approach, allows her to build strong relationships and ensure every patient feels heard and supported.

Maddie, RN, and Hannah, LPN, are committed to women’s health, which drives them to stay informed on the latest advancements in care, ensuring they can provide the best possible guidance and support. Whether assisting with routine exams, patient education, or specialized care, they are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of the women they care for.
